Have you wondered what your positive group word would be for the anti mountaintop removal?
Is it pro life? If you look at what you are for, it sounds better...You all lose with regular people who enjoy nature, knowing to conserve, but know that they cannot love a mountain more than God. I love God's creation and creatures, but not more than God Alone.
So, environmentalists love mountains....Some want to help with jobs, but attack efforts to create other jobs...like gas. Good to protect water. However, stop making enemies out of this industry.
So, to appeal to people, you have to be more heartfelt in loving the people you oppose.
Only then will you be truly convincing that you want to help Appalachia.

Beautifully and genuinely expressed, Jason!

Everyone who ever heard her speak, heard her passionate demand for justice in this tormented land, felt the little hairs rise on the backs of their necks as she called us to action and service knows the powerful truth of what you describe.

More than our Mother Jones, even, I think she was our Moses, for like Moses, she did not reach the Promised Land, but she had a vision of it and knew we will get there.
